I am not sure how to comprehend your question(s).
An online editor seems to be difficult, since Firemath is based on XUL, which is tied to Firefox.
What do you mean by portable? Firemath runs within Firefox but you don't need access to the internet once you installed the editor. Do you have any problems with installing Firefox?
