There is no meaning for security. The target image (produced from FireMath) will be published in a forum. In another words, the image will be public. There are a lot of firefox plugins for image uploading such as "Rehost image" and "uppix right-click" that upload images to image servers. The only you have to do is to right-click on image and send it to image server. *See at the end of this post for more details.

As far as I know the most forums, by using [image]...[/image] or [img]...[/img] that uses your forum.

That would be the best idea but there are a lot of forum developers. You cannot persuade them to include MathML because is not used widely.

I know, it's not easy to support image upload on FireMath. I drop the idea and maybe some time you will find the time to implement it.

*Personally, I do the following steps to publish the produced image from FireMath:
- I write a math-equation in the Firemath.
- I choose "Edit->Copy Bitmap".
- On the math-equation image I do a right click on the image and I choose "upload to uppix" by using the uppix firefox plugin.
- The plug-in opens uppix's web page by giving the link that is ready for forums (4th choice).
- I do a copy of the link and paste on the forum I want.

Sounds like an interesting idea. Nevertheless, it raises many questions. Who provides the server (reliably)? Who defines the interface between Firemath and the server (securely)? Which security measures have to be taken? How many forums accept images inlined within the text with the images on remote servers?

Alternatively, we can try to convince forum software authors to write modules, which accept MathML. ;)

To be realistic, my desire to add other features to Firemath will take too much time, such that we likely have to wait quite some time before your proposal can be realized.

It would be a good idea of creating a place where we could store our equation images and use them later in a web forum.

My proposals are:
a) Create a button on FireMath that store the image of the equation we wrote, in a web file server and return us the link to the image.

or

b) Create a button on FireMath that will call your web FireMath equation translation server and translate online our equation
